# Application composition

> Compose applications from admitted platform contracts instead of rebuilding backend behavior per project.

P2HS uses a layered composition model. The exact dependency graph is defined by the platform’s admitted contracts; the useful mental model is:

```mermaid theme={null}
flowchart TD
  A[Primitive capabilities] --> B[Feature Packs]
  A --> C[App Blocks]
  B --> D[Composition recipe]
  C --> D
  D --> E[Generated application]
```

## Why composition exists

Composition gives codegen a constrained, reviewable vocabulary for application behavior. It keeps capability admission, runtime dependencies, validation, and generated output aligned.

The public reference pages describe admitted metadata. Proposed and internal contracts are intentionally excluded.
