# Quickstart

> Create or import a P2HS project and reach a preview deployment.

This quickstart gets you from a new or existing project to a working preview. Exact options shown in the dashboard depend on your workspace and project configuration.

    Connect a repository, select the source and branch, and continue through the project build and preview workflow.

  <Step title="Create a P2HS account">
    Start at [P2HS signup](https://p2hs.com/signup), then open the [P2HS dashboard](https://dashboard.p2hs.com/) and complete account and workspace setup.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose how to begin">
    Choose P2HS AI, an existing project import, or the customer GitHub integration.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe or review the application">
    For P2HS AI, describe the application and its requirements. For an import or GitHub connection, review the detected source, branch, and project configuration before adopting it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the project">
    Add the capabilities, integrations, environment values, and authentication settings required by the application. Keep secrets in project configuration; do not place provider credentials in browser code.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build and preview">
    Review the build estimate where applicable, start the build, monitor progress, inspect the resulting revision, and open a preview when the build succeeds.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add functionality and deploy">
    Add supported application features and external integrations, verify the preview, then create a production deployment. Subsequent changes should be made as new revisions and validated before promotion.
