P2HS treats source and generated output as project state that must remain reviewable. Codegen and import workflows record structured status, changes, and revision information rather than replacing the project invisibly. Use revisions to:
  • inspect the result of a build or codegen run;
  • compare changes before preview or production deployment;
  • restore a known revision when the product workflow allows it;
  • keep later changes attributable to a project operation.
When a project is connected to a Git provider, source-control behavior is governed by the configured integration and project source authority. See GitHub.
